8D6N SPRING IN KASHMIR → LEH LADAKH

Day 01: KL / Delhi

Upon arrival Delhi meeting and assistance transfer to hotel for overnight in Delhi

Day-02 Srinagar.

Upon arrival Delhi connecting flight to srinagar . upon arrival meeting and assistance at the airport transfer to houseboat Later visit famous Mughal Gardens Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) was built by Asif Khan, brother of Empress Noorjehan in 1632 AD. Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) was built by Jehangir for his wife Noor Jehan. Situated on the bank of Dal Lake, these gardens are overlooked by picturesque Zabarwan Mountains.later transfer to Houseboat for overnight.
 

Day 03: Srinagar →  Sonamarg →  Kargil (220kms-6-7 hrs)

Upon arrival in the morning our representative will meet & greet you at Sheikh ul Alam Airport (Srinagar Airport). Later proceed to Kargil. Enroute visit Sonamarg (Known as Meadow of Gold), Drass Village (2nd Coldest Inhabitated place in the World), visit Kargil War Memorial at Drass, Kargil war Famous Peaks (Tiger, Tololing). Reach Kargil by evening. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

 

Day 04: Kargil →  Lamayuru →  Leh (220 kms- 7-8 hrs)

Morning after breakfast proceed to Alchi, enroute visit Mulbek, Giant Living Buddha Sculpture on Rock Mountain, Lamayuru, the oldest Monastery of Ladakh and Moon Landscape.Driving through a picturesque landscape we reach the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers, 4 km after Nimmu village also visit Hall of Fame. Reach Leh by late noon. Evening visit local market. Overnight Hotel.

 

Day 05: Leh →  Nubra Valley (160kms- 5hrs)

After an early breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY, through KHARDUNG-LA the highest motorable road in the world at 18,390 ft, around 39kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers and situated between North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh range of Himalayas. In the afternoon visit Hunder Monastery at Hunder village. Hunder is lying close to the border between India and Pakistan in the north- western part of Ladakh. You can visit the SAND DUNES and also enjoy a camel safari (Optional on direct payment basis). Overnight stay at Nubra.

 

Day 06: Nubra Valley →  Leh (160kms-5hrs)

After breakfast at the camp, visit Diskit Monastery en route to Leh. There are a number of shrines inside the monastery's complex, like Kangyu-lang, Tsangyu-lang, etc. Diskit Gompa has quite an interesting legend attached to it. It is believed that a Mongol demon once lived here and was considered to be a sworn enemy of Buddhism. Afternoon rest and relax or take a walk to the local market. Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 07: Leh →  Pangong Lake →  Leh (145 kms - 4-5 hrs one way )

After an early breakfast, leave for the mesmeric Pangong Tso, passing through Changla pass, which is around 5360 metres above sea level. Pangong Lake, situated at 4267 metres above sea level, is famed for its serenity. Pangong Lake is a long narrow basin of inland drainage the highest salt water Lake in the world, shared by two countries India & China. Though open to tourists, the lake and its surrounding are under army surveillance. Evening return back to leh. Overnight in hotel

 

Day 08: Leh – Del – KL

Enjoy the nature. Today your beautiful stay in Leh draws to a close. After breakfast pack your bags to reach the airport in time to catch your flight for Delhi - upon arrival Delhi board international flight to kL back home.
