DAY 1: AIRPORT – NEGOMBO (D)

Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport. Welcome and transfer to beach hotel in Negombo. Day at leisure in Negombo. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Negombo.

DAY 2: NEGOMBO – PINNAWALA – DAMBULLA  (B/D)

Breakfast at the hotel. En route visit to see the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala. Leave to visit Dambulla Rock Temple built by King Walagambahu, in the 1st century B.C. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Cultural Triangle Area.

DAY 3: SIGIRIYA – MATALE – KANDY (B/D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Climb the 5th century Sigiriya Rock Fortress which is a world heritage site, built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD) Leave for Kandy. En route at Matale visit a Hindu temple, a batik factory and a spice garden. Proceed to Kandy. This was the last kingdom of Sri Lanka, and the hill capital. Kandy is also the venue for Annual.  Perahera, a pageant with over 150 elephants, dance troops, etc., Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, upper lake, Kandy Market area. In the evening witness a cultural dance show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dances including fire dancing. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Kandy.

DAY 4: KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA (B/D)

After breakfast visit Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. Proceed to Nuwara Eliya, known as the “Little England” of Sri Lanka. En route see the mountains covered with tea bushes and cascading waterfalls. Visit a tea factory and a plantation to see the tea manufacturing process. Enjoy a freshly brewed cup of “Ceylon Tea”.  Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

DAY 5: NUWARA ELIYA – BEACH (B/D)

After breakfast leave for South West beach resort. Travel through a beautiful landscape &see the widest waterfall of Sri Lanka, Drive through Kithulgala where the Oscar winning movie “Bridge on the River Kwai” was filmed. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Beach hotel.

DAY 6:  BEACH – COLOMBO – AIRPORT  (B/D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning at leisure. Later leave for Colombo. Make a sightseeing tour of Colombo. Visit a Buddhist Temple, a Hindu Temple, Pettah, Cinnamon Gardens, The former British Administrative Center and Military Garrison, Sea Street, Goldsmiths quarters in the heart of Pettah, remaining Colonial area, Fort, Galle Face Green, Independence Square, BMICH, replica of the tallest standing Buddha statue at Aukana, etc. Discover the city & explore the shopping malls, such as House of Fashion, Odel, etc. Dinner at restaurant. Transfer to the airport for onward flight.
