DAY 1: ARRIVE CHENNAI BY FLIGHT

On arrival at Chennai airport, after clearing customs and immigration, come out of the exit gate, where our local representative will assist you and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Chennai hotel.

DAY 2: CHENNAI SIGHSEEING (B)

After breakfast , meet our driver and proceed for sightseeing of Chennai : Fort St. George, Govt. Museum, Valluvar Kottam, Kapleeswarwar Temple, Santhome Cathedral. Drive along the Marina Beach - the most famous beach in Chennai. Marina Beach is the second longest urban beach in India. Elliot’s Beach- It is simply called Besant Nagar Beach, marks the end point of the Marina. The beach boasts scenic beauty with golden sand and clear waters, perfect for a refreshing dip or a leisurely walk along the shore. Drive pass visit of The High Court, Thousands Lights Mosque, The Secretariat & the Victory War Memorial. Overnight at Chennai hotel.

DAY 3: CHENNAI - KANCHIPURAM - MAHABALIPURAM - PONDICHERRY (B)

After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to Temple City -Kanchipuram and visit Ekambaranatha Temple, Kamatchi Amman Temple and shop for the world famous Kancheepuram Silks. Later drive to Mamalapuram and visit the 7th century pallavan monuments. Shore Temple: The oldest structure in the area, build c. 700 AD, this temple has been here for more than 1400 years. The area around the temple is now a landscaped park, with guards keeping the hordes of souvenir hawkers at bay. A Shiva lingam is enshrined in the central building and the site can get very crowded on weekends. Five Rathas (Pancha Pandava Rathas) : This site contains five Rathas, literally chariots, dating from the 7th century. The sculptures are complemented by some enormous stone animals, including a large elephant. Then drive to Pondicherry and check in at hotel. Rest for the day. Overnight at Pondicherry hotel.

DAY 4: PONDICHERRY SIGHTSEEING (B)

After breakfast, meet our driver and visit the Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville - where you will discover the yoga and meditation are changing the lives of people every day. Pondicherry Museum, Ayee Mandapam - Park Monument (Bharathi Park), Vinayagar Temple, French War Memorial and Catholic Church - Notre Dame des Anges Church. In the evening we take a wonderful heritage walk in the French colonies as well as along Promenade Beach. Overnight at Pondicherry hotel.

DAY 5: PONDICHERRY - TRICHY BY SURFACE VIA TANJOURE (B)

After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Tanjore, on arrival visit Brihadeeswarar temple – The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and it was built by Great Chola King Raja Raja I (985-1012 AD). Tanjore Palace – Still the royal family of Marathas resides in this palace. Saraswathi Mahal Library as well as an art gallery -that has various collections of sculptures and paintings. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 6: TRICHY - MADURAI BY SURFACE (B)

After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Nectar City of Madurai, En route stop at Trichy to visit Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple - most important pilgrim center in the district. Reach Madurai and check in at hotel. Evening witness Pooja ceremony at Hindu Temple “Meenakashi Temple”. Overnight at Madurai hotel.

DAY 7: MADURAI SIGHTSEEING (B)

After breakfast, Meet our driver and proceed for city tour of Madurai visit the Meenakshi temple - one of the biggest temple complexes in India. The temple was constructed by Kulasekara Pandya. Later visit palace of Tirumala Nayak - It was built by king Thirumalai Nayak in year 1636 (hence it’s name) in Indo-saracenic style with tall arches gracing the palace. Being erstwhile residence to the king, only one-fourth of the actual structure is intact. Gandhi Memorial Museum - This museum is one of the five Gandhi Sangrahalayas (museums) in India. It was established in 1959 and houses an elaborate collection of illustrations - illustrations to show Indian freedom struggle and pictorial gallery depicting life of Mahatma Gandhi. Overnight at Madurai hotel.

  DAY 8: MADURAI - RAMESHWARAM (B)

After breakfast, Check out from the hotel. Meet our driver and proceed to visit Ramanathaswamy Temple - dedicated to Lord Shiva.   Agmnitheertham - located near the Ramanathaswamy Temple, Bath in 22 Tirthas of Ramanathaswamy temple, Pamban bridge, Dhanushkodi (Boat ride provided)  - Kothandaramaswamy Temple - Gandhamadhana Parvatham. Later drive to Trivandrum. On arrival and check into the hotel. Rest for the day. Overnight at Rameshwaram hotel.

DAY 9: RAMESHWARAM - KANYAKUMARI - TRIVANDRUM (B)

After breakfast, meet our driver and drive to Kanyakumari - Confluence of three ocean, Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean & Bay of Bengal. visiting - Gandhi Memorial, Kamaraj Memorial, Thiriveni Sangam, Devi Temple, Wax Museum, Bharath Matha Temple, Vattakotai Circular Fort, Suchindram Temple. Also visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial. Later drive back to Trivandrum. Rest for the day. Overnight at Trivandrum hotel.

  DAY 10: TRIVANDRUM DEPARTURE (B)

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to airport to board the flight for onward destination.
